Terms of Service

Plain English. No legalese. Here's how KidCart works and what we ask of you.

📅 Last updated: January 2026

📋 The short version: KidCart connects families with retailers. We're a referral service — we never sell you anything directly, never charge you, and never touch your payment info. Stores handle everything.

Acceptance of terms

By using KidCart (the app or website at kidcart.app), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use KidCart. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use means you accept the updated terms.

What KidCart is

KidCart is a family shopping tool. Kids swipe on products they'd like, parents review and approve those selections, and approved items are sent to a retail partner (like Walmart or Amazon) for purchase. KidCart earns an affiliate commission from retailers when purchases are completed through our links.

KidCart is not a retailer. We do not sell products, process payments, hold inventory, or handle shipping. All transactions happen directly between you and the retail partner.

Who can use KidCart

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your PIN and account credentials secure. The parent PIN is your control mechanism — don't share it with your kids if you want to maintain approval control. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at hello@kidcart.app.

Purchases & payments

When you tap "Buy All at Walmart" (or any other retailer), you are leaving KidCart and entering that retailer's platform. All purchases, payments, refunds, and customer service for those orders are governed by the retailer's own terms and policies. KidCart has no involvement in and no liability for those transactions.

KidCart does not charge you any fees. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions paid by retailers — this does not affect the price you pay at the store.

Affiliate relationships

KidCart participates in affiliate programs with retail partners. This means we may earn a commission when you complete a purchase through links we provide. We only partner with reputable retailers and these relationships do not influence which products appear in the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The KidCart name, logo, design system, and all original content on kidcart.app are owned by KidCart. Product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. KidCart does not claim ownership over any retailer's product data.

Disclaimer of warranties

KidCart is provided "as is." We make no warranties about availability, accuracy of product information, or fitness for a particular purpose. Product availability, pricing, and details are controlled by retailers and may change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KidCart is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or from any purchases made through retail partner links.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting hello@kidcart.app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of applicable jurisdiction.
